This site is intended as a resource to students of social and European history. The creator, Richard Huffman is a graduate of the University of Washington and specifically hopes that the material developed will be of assistance to undergraduate level and graduate level scholars. Students are encouraged to invite fellow students to join the wiki so everyone can benefit.
All translations become free for anyone to use, and periodically new translations will be placed onto baader-meinhof.com, with full acknowledgement for the translators.
Anyone can view the translations, but you must sign up to actively edit and provide translations. New documents will be added regulary, but for now, check out 1970 and 1972 for some of the initial documents.
A note to translators: A pecularity of leftist thought in Germany in the late 60s and early 70s was a rebellion against most every part of the society of their parents; and this rebellion extended to the capitalization of words in sentences. Many of these documents are entirely capital letter-free. In the spirit of an accurate translation; it's probably best to follow the form of the original document.
